CIRS, AQUILAB Form Strategic Partnership to Advance Integrated Phantom-Software Solutions for Medical Physicists
Norfolk, Virginia (July 25, 2012) – CIRS (USA) and AQUILAB (France) today announced the formation of a strategic partnership that will build upon each company’s history of strong innovation in phantom technologies and image analysis software respectively.
The first result of this partnership, ISO AnalyzeTM Image Analysis Software, will be released by CIRS during the 2012 AAPM Annual Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA from July 29th through August 2nd.
ISO AnalyzeTM Image Analysis Software integrates with the ISO CubeTM Daily QA Phantom and ISO BaseTM Alignment platform, enabling user-friendly quality control of the isocenter of a LINAC by analyzing DICOM images acquired with the EPID detector. Controls are run automatically, analyzing the image of the ISO CubeTM and quantifying a large number of evaluation parameters. It allows users to easily generate a report for each preceding control.
